Web Check-in Terms and Conditions
Boarding gates close 25 minutes before flight departure for all flights. Please clear Security checks atleast 30 minutes before flight departure.
Booking Reference No. / PNR (JetLite booking reference) is the six letter code provided at the time of reservation. It should be entered in a format such as ABCDEF.
Passengers need to print a copy of the boarding pass while performing a web check-in or can retrieve and print the same from our website before the travel date/time.
Passengers are requested to please read the notes printed on the boarding pass carefully.
Web check-in is currently available:
For passengers holding a confirmed, valid eTicket only.
For a group of maximum seven passengers and a maximum of three segments per passenger.
Anytime between 48 hours to 1 hour prior to flight departure.
For passengers departing from an airport which is online with our check-in system. The list of cities and airports where Web Check-in is available can be seen in the drop down while using the Web Check-in facility.
During the check-in process, our Web check-in facility will display (easy identification) the Emergency exit and Non-Reclining seats.
Passengers who check-in on Emergency seats are bound to govern by the rules of the Emergency exit seats as given below.
Passengers traveling on Emergency exit row seats must:
Emergency seats are not allowed for:
Aged passengers
Temporarily and permanently disabled passengers
Visually / Speech impaired passengers
Expectant Mothers
Passengers under 15 years of age, including passengers with infant
Passengers requiring an extension seat belt to occupy a seat
Sick Passengers
JetLite reserves the right to reseat passengers already seated (checked-in using Web Check-in) on Emergency exit seats in order to comply with safety regulations.
Web check-in is currently restricted and not available for:
Infants and children - If an infant or a child is part of a group/PNR then all the passengers will have to check-in at the airport and cannot check-in on the web.
Passengers with waitlisted or open bookings.
Passengers with special service requests such as wheelchairs, extra seats, visual and hearing impairment, unaccompanied minors, pets in hold or stretcher are not eligible for web check-in.
Staff travel, interline travel, industry discount, upgrade vouchers and agents discount tickets.
Once the boarding pass is printed:
Please proceed to the check-in area with the printout of both the copies (Agent copy and Customer copy) along with a valid photo identification document (mandatory) for verification.
The Credit Card used to purchase the tickets will have to be produced at the time of check-in. If the holder of the Credit Card is not the passenger, then the passenger should possess the following:
- A photocopy of both sides of the Credit Card, which will have to be self-attested by the credit card holder, authorising the use of the Credit Card for the purchase of the ticket.
- This photocopy should also contain the name of the passenger, the date of journey & the sector on which the journey is made.
The above document MUST be produced at the time of check-in. If the passenger fails to comply with these conditions, JetLite reserves the right to deny the passenger(s) from boarding.
If the passenger has any check-in baggage, the bags will have to be presented along with a valid photo ID to our airport check-in counter well in advance of the boarding time.
While Web Check-in is recommended to passengers with carry-on baggage. Passengers carrying check-in luggage will have to report at the JetLite airport check-in counter at least 45 minutes prior schedule flight departure to tag their baggage.
All check-in timelines followed currently at the airport will be applicable for web check-in as well. In case passenger has excess baggage to pay for, the Excess Baggage Slip used for other eTicketed passengers will be issued.
After the passenger has successfully completed Web Check-in, he/she cannot make the following changes online:
Passengers cannot offload themselves through web check-in (online)
Cannot change the seat preference online
Web check-in application allows 7 passengers and 3 segments per passenger at a time from a single PNR. However if a PNR has multiple passengers and segments, check-in on the web can be done for a single or multiple passengers.
Passengers booked on separate PNR’s have to do a web check-in for each passenger separately.
Gate no-shows will be offloaded from the system during the Missing Passenger Drill at the airport.
Web check-in is allowed for maximum three segments. If the passenger is eligible for through and return; check-in for the onward or return sector, the passenger will be able to web check-in.
Web check-in is allowed anytime between 48 hours to 1 hour prior to flight departure.
If the passenger forgets his web check-in boarding pass on verifying his identity, a fresh boarding pass will; be issued at the counter outside the Airport or at the check-in counter.
After printing the boarding pass, if there is any delay or disruption, the boarding pass can be re-printed and; the revised timings will be reflected on the new boarding pass.
Changes can be made at the following JetLite touch points:
Airport Reservation / Curb side counter: Can cancel/offload or change seat preference. A new boarding pass will be issued against a photo id. All changes or re-check-in must be done D-2 hours. However if the passenger wants to re check-in on the web, he/she has the option to do so.
24 hour call centre: Can cancel the check-in status i.e. off-load passenger only. However if the passenger wants to re check-in, he/she will have to do the same on the web again.
Please note that after any of the above changes, the previous boarding pass is invalid.
In the event a passenger reports late, JetLite may have to reallocate their seat which may result in missing the flight. Reservations are subject to cancellation if the passenger is not on board the aircraft at least 25 minutes prior to departure. All existing no-show rules, terms & conditions, cancellation & baggage rules and allowances apply.
If the passenger does not report at the boarding gate D-25 then the passenger will be offloaded from the flight as per the current procedure used at the airport. The passenger will be liable for gate no show charges.
It is mandatory to produce a valid photo identification using the Web Check-in boarding pass for security clearance as well as for boarding. Valid photo identification - Official Government issued photo identification, Driving license, Election photo identification, Passport and Photo credit card.
Web Check-in is not available for traditional paper or TAT tickets. It is available for eTtickets only.
Proxy check-in is not allowed.
Any changes to the check-in status will have to be done by D-1 hour. Existing cancellation charges, no show; charges will be applicable.
For changes in the check-in status passenger will have to produce his web printed boarding pass at the JetLite ticketing counter or check-in counter.
Passengers will be treated as gate no shows at D-25 minutes.
Re-printing of a boarding pass is available on the web for a passenger who has checked-in earlier through other check-in channels including tele check-in.
