Maintenance work on Srinagar’s Sheik-ul-Alam International Airport Humhama runway
Starting September 1, 2010 till September 15, 2010, the Srinagar Airport will begin the maintenance of its runway due to which, the following flights stand cancelled:

Additional Security Checks
The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security as annouced that, enhanced security measures will be implemented at all airports and there is likely to be congestion for security checks. In order to avoid delays due to these additional security measures, guests are requested to:
- Report early to the airport for the security checks
- Check in counters will be closed well in advance and all checked-in guests will have to move for pre-embarkation checks well in time
- Guests are encouraged to check in their hand bags and it will be ensured that such bags are accepted in locked condition
These additional security checks will be carried out from August 6, 2010 to August 20, 2010
New check-in timings from August 04, 2010
Effective August 04, 2010, our Check-in Counter closing time will be 45 minutes prior to departure for all our domestic departures from Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
For our guests who wish to Tele or SMS Check-in, please ensure that you collect your boarding pass for your assigned seat no later than 50 minutes prior to departure.
Guests using Web or Kiosk check-in but with check in baggage will have to complete all baggage related formalities prior to counter closure.
Boarding gates will close 25 minutes prior to departure for our domestic flights from Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
For all other airports within India, check-in counters will continue to close at 30 minutes prior to flight departure and boarding gates will close 15 minutes prior departure.
Please note that the Check-in Counters for International flights continue to close 60 minutes prior to flight departure.
Delhi Airport Terminal T3:
To facilitate seamless and hassle-free journey, please note the changes at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi.
We, now operate all our International flights to/from Terminal 3, New Delhi.
Enhanced security at all airports within India
Based on an alert from BCAS, security at all airports within India has been enhanced.
- Guests are requested to arrive 3 hours prior to scheduled flight departure for International check-in and 2 hours prior to scheduled flight departure for Domestic check-in
- Increased physical checks of checked-in and hand baggage(s)
- Secondary security checks have also been increased
- Guests are requested to immediately report all unattended articles to the concerned authorities.
- All guests (Tele checked-in as well as Web checked-in) are requested to arrive well in advance for check-in.
- Web checked-in boarding pass will have to be authenticated by the airline staff before pre-embarkation / security checks.
- Please ensure you carry valid photo identification for seamless check-in and boarding
Notice to customers travelling to/from Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Jaipur, Lucknow and Srinagar
In view of enhanced security measures and secondary checks at Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Jaipur, Lucknow and Srinagar airports, guests travelling out of these airports are requested to arrive well in advance for check-in.
Guests are requested to carry their identification documents, which we will be verified by the check-in staff, before issuing the Boarding Pass.
In case of Web check-in guests, please proceed to the check-in counter(s) to authenticate the boarding pass and verify your identification documents before proceeding for security checks.
Apart from the regular x-ray screening of checked-in baggage, physical checks of check-in and hand baggage will be carried out as per the laid down BCAS regulations.
Guests are requested to report all unattended articles to the concerned authorities immediately.
