A child travelling alone between the age of 5 years and under 12 years is termed as an Unaccompanied Minor (UM) for domestic travel.
A child travelling alone between the age of 6 years and under 12 years is termed as an Unaccompanied Minor (UM) for international travel.
In both cases, escort service is not provided.
The child is treated as an UM even though he may be accompanied by a guest who is 13 years but under the age of 18 years.
JetLite never accepts Unaccompanied Minors when there is an overnight stay involved. We do not transfer Unaccompanied Minors to the International Terminal for connecting to an International flight. A person must be nominated by the parents or guardians to collect the child from the domestic terminal.
